Hi, I'm Dr. Todd Fincher. I'm a general dentist in Greenwood, Mississippi. We've been practicing here for 30 years. I'd like to share a little bit about me and why I chose to go into dentistry. I guess I was lucky because I've known I wanted to be a dentist since I was in the seventh grade. Had a great personal dentist here in Greenwood, and Dr. Arthur Richter, who was a mentor to me, let me shadow him as I got closer to going into dental school. Had a great life here growing up. Was involved in the Boy Scouts here. Loved hunting and fishing. Played some tennis. Did a lot of running. And now, I basically slowed my lifestyle down to work and do a lot of yoga, do a lot of work on my farm. I've got a place where I love planting trees and growing food plots for wildlife. Still enjoy hunting. Have got a grandson that's growing up just like me, that absolutely loves hunting and fishing. The pleasure for me now is taking him and being with him. I love the challenge of having someone come in that has no teeth and provide them dental implants and rebuild their mouth to the way it was, maybe 20-30 years ago. But overall in dentistry, I think what I enjoy the most is my staff and my patients. I love working with my staff. We have great interaction, and we all just really enjoy getting to know our patients. We have patients that come throughout the whole Mississippi Delta. They put their trust in us, or they wouldn't be driving an hour or two to see us, and we just try to provide them the best care possible on the planet, and just give them oral health like they've never experienced before.
